Girls on Hills Ltd
Girls on Hills Ltd is a unique trail/fell running company for women, located in the Glencoe area of the Scottish Highlands. Whether you’re new to running or seeking a challenge, we offer group events throughout the year as well as bespoke days that allow you to create your own adventure. Our low ratios ensure focused coaching and remote tranquility.
Our three areas of local guiding are Run Glencoe, The Wild Trails, and Hike Glencoe’s Munros. Each guide has a Fell/Trail Leadership in Running Fitness (FLiRF) qualification from the Fell Running Association (FRA), with equivalent standard licenses and insurance coverage from England Athletics/British Athletics. Run Glencoe; The Summits offers hill runners an opportunity to improve their fell running skills through skyrunning routes, while exploring mountainside terrain safely thanks to our qualified summer Mountain Leaders who coach navigation, uphill/downhill technique, and provide nutrition and safety advice. Hike Glencoe’s Munros option is ideal for those looking to climb mountains for the first time, without feeling alone due to the support of experienced local guides holding the same certifications.
