Whaligoe Steps is a harbour located in the northern part of Scotland that is accessible only via a steep staircase of over 300 steps. The staircase is bounded on three sides by cliff faces that rise up to 250 feet high, providing an amazing view of the surrounding landscape.

The harbour was once a bustling fishing port but now serves as a destination for tourists on the North Coast 500 route & locals alike. Visitors can explore the historic steps, admire the natural beauty of the area, and learn about the history of the harbour.

To get to Whaligoe Steps, you can take a detour from the A99 road in Caithness, which is easily accessible from both the Wick area to the north and Lybster to the south.
