Nevis Range Mountain Gondola
Nevis Range in Fort William is home to the UK’s only Mountain Gondola, taking visitors up 650m on Aonach Mor mountain. The journey takes about 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of nearby lochs and glens – if it’s a clear day you can even spot some of the Inner Hebrides! At the Top Station there are two signposted walks with great viewpoints. There’s also Snowgoose Restaurant & Bar at the station, serving local produce like fresh baking, drams or freshly ground coffee. Finally, down at Base Station is Pinemarten Cafe: a contemporary building boasting picturesque windows overlooking slopes plus speciality coffees/teas and snacks as well as hot meals (with daily specials).
