SR Film Photography
Skye Collodion is a wet plate collodion artist and photographer. The process was invented in the Victorian era of 1851, which involves creating an image with silver molecules held on either glass or aluminium plates. Skye Collodion offers portraiture sessions throughout Skye and Lochalsh where they capture fine art images to be sold as prints at exhibitions centres and gift shops. Wet plate collodion photography is considered one of the most technical forms of photography practiced only by about one thousand people worldwide, few ever taking it into mountainous areas such as what’s seen in their Peak Perseverance project within Skye Collodion.
