Benromach Distillery & Visitor's Centre
Our distillery has been producing Benromach whisky since 1898, using the same spring water from nearby Romach Hills. You can visit our 3 distillers and see them work with sight, sound and touch to carefully create the unique qualities of this single malt scotch whisky. On your tour, you will be shown around our boby mill, mash tuns, 4 wooden washbacks, 2 copper stills and spirit safe – as well as warehouses full of mementoes! Our friendly guide will also give you a tutored tasting experience so that you can enjoy a sip of classic Speyside Single Malt Whisky. Benromach is located on the outskirts of Forres in Speyside’s smallest distillery. Here two experienced Distillers use only Scotland’s finest barley along with pure spring water to craft each bottle by hand – before leaving it mature for many years until it meets their highest quality standards before bottling & labelling as ‘Benromach’. Your personalised tour may include guided walks through their facility or an exclusive selection from their range available at The Malt Whisky Centre Shop where clothing merchandise is also sold .
