Grantown Museum
Grantown Museum tells the tale of how this planned town was founded and uses both modern and traditional methods to bring that story up-to-date. It is a source of great pride for the people living in Grantown, with regular temporary exhibitions featuring art, crafts and photography also taking place. The museum holds an archive from the Grantown Society which provides research facilities related to genealogy as well as local history. As it is home to Clan Grant many Grants from all around the world come here frequently asking questions or just paying their respects. The museum is run by its own Trust along with support provided by VisitScotland who have established a Tourist Information Point on site too โ thereโs even a shop selling souvenirs, books & maps! Finally thanks go out to all volunteers who help keep things running smoothly while providing advice about walks & other places worth visiting nearby!
