The Nadurra Visitor Centre
The Nàdurra Centre introduces visitors to the natural environment of Ardnamurchan, the most westerly part of the British mainland. The centre offers a combination of education and entertainment for all ages with relevant facts presented in an engaging way. An interactive exhibition is housed within the ‘Living Building’ where people can learn about its flora and fauna. Additionally, regular presentations are held featuring an award winning audio visual presentation titled ‘Ardnamurchan – Almost an Island’. Within this building lies a unique atmosphere reminiscent of quiet woodland created by turf on roofing and bark as flooring that attracts various wildlife who remain oblivious to being watched while they go about their lives freely outdoors.. After watching wildlife throughout day one may take refuge at The Antler Tearoom which provides quality homemaking items along with light lunches based off traditional Scottish recipes or opt for take away service if desired . Picnic tables outside offer fine views over Glenmore Bay or relaxing conservatory seating beneath Black Hamburg Grapevine; high chair available upon request should children accompany you during your visit here .
