The Quiraing
Head to the Isle of Skye and take the A855 north out of Portree. At Brogaig, turn left onto a road that winds over hills until you reach Uig. You’ll come across two hairpin bends before coming upon a large layby where you can park your bike. The trail starts from there and is shared with walkers; however it has technical sections so cyclists won’t be travelling too fast which should give people time to get out of their way if needed! There’s also food available in Brogaig village or sometimes even at the top car park if open, although an alternative spot for parking is half a mile back down the same route just in case this one gets full up quickly. If wondering whether this trail suits your needs then here are some details: Length – 4 Miles Ascent – 449 m Time Taken – 2.5 hrs Technical Grade – Hard Fitness Grade – Hard
