Lucy Montgomery takes small, friendly groups on tours around Waternish Farm. This working Skye farm produces quality silage while preserving its wildflower grasslands and providing vital habitat for corncrakes and other ground-nesting birds. Visitors are treated to spectacular views of the Minch towards North Uist and Harris, as well as over 100 species of wildflowers, plants, birds in abundance – a beautiful place shared by people, livestock and wildlife alike! After each tour there is an informative talk with illustrations about farming life in this unique environment; accompanied by tea/coffee & cake served back at the Farmhouse.
