Welcome to Dunrobin Castle, the ancestral home of my family for over seven hundred years. It is an honor that people from around the world come and visit us here, and I am proud to share this magnificent castle and gardens with everyone who visits. Lord Strathnaver. Dunrobin Castle is located in Scotland’s Northern Highlands region and it has 189 rooms making it one of the largest castles in all of Scotland. What makes it even more unique is that its history dates back to as far as early 1300s where Earls (and later Dukes) Sutherland made their home there for centuries until today! Its architecture draws influence from some renowned architects such Sir Charles Barry – well-known for designing London’s Houses of Parliament – as well as from Sir Robert Lorimer – a Scottish architect himself . During World War One, Dunrobin Castle was used by navy forces while also serving briefly during 1965-1972 period acting like a boarding school boys facility.. Finally , you can find Dunorobin Caslte on east coast region near Moray Firth sea just north away form Golspie & Dornoch villages
