Invergordon Off the Wall
The Invergordon Mural Trail is a unique outdoor art gallery located in the Scottish Highlands. This trail boasts over 11 large-scale murals that celebrate and pay tribute to the history and natural heritage of the town.
When exploring the trail, visitors can expect to take a trip back in time and delve into Invergordon’s past through these stunning pieces of artwork. The murals also showcase local people and artists who have contributed to the project, providing insight into the community and the artistic talents that reside within it.
You can download an app or follow a map on foot to explore the trail. Starting from either Invergordon Railway Station up High Street or any point along the way, it takes approximately 60-90 minutes for visitors to see all eleven murals.
As you make your way through the trail, don’t forget to take souvenir photos within designated frames located around certain points, transforming you into characters such as lifeboat crew members and Drum Majors.
If you’re up for a challenge, make sure to participate in The Mural Detective Quiz, which involves checking off each mural badge found across the route.
