Tomintoul Art Gallery
Enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Tomintoul Art Gallery, home to artist in residence Jane Lannagan. Located just off the square in Tomintoul, this art gallery celebrates its gateway to Cairngorms National Park. Jane’s batik art includes a wide range of images from Scottish and European landscapes as well as local scenes from Glenlivet and Upper Banffshire; figure and animal artwork is also present. Watercolour, oils, ceramics created by other artists can be found here too – while there is also an entire display dedicated specifically to her kiln-fired ceramic pieces throughout the day! Commissions are taken for both batik or ceramic works with subjects ranging across various topics. Visitors may book places on courses available where they learn how to produce their own Highland theme artwork under personal guidance from Jane herself along with plenty of time for exploration accompanied by fascinating facts about each piece displayed here!
