Ferrycroft Visitor Centre Detailed Information

Ferrycroft is a Heritage Centre, Tourist Information point and café, offering free experiences for all ages. The centre boasts ample parking, including space for larger vehicles and caravans. The lawned gardens feature wood carvings, seating and play equipment suitable for all, including wheelchair users. Two walks start from Ferrycroft: the Ord Hill Archaeological Trail and the Ferrywood walk, both offering stunning views and historical features. Inside the centre, visitors can enjoy a small café serving drinks and snacks, a gift shop with Highland sourced and themed goods, and three separate display rooms covering “Water,” “Land,” and “People,” with occasional temporary exhibits from the Local History Society. Younger visitors can enjoy nature-themed activities, including animal hide-and-seek and coloring tasks. Ferrycroft also provides toilet facilities, including a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities for added convenience.
