Welcome to Hunter Mountaineering! We are a friendly, professional and experienced company offering guidance, instruction and coaching in all aspects of British walking, mountaineering and climbing. Based in Fort William we provide summer and winter private guiding services as well as courses from walking up Ben Nevis to rock climbing in Glencoe. Our Private Guiding service is the most popular choice for those wanting to ‘tick’ particular climbs or summits or work on particular skills such as trad leading or winter mountaineering. For example you could climb Ben Nevis via mountain track, Tower Ridge or Ledge Route; become more independent at mountaineer level; complete Aonach Eagach ridge with Curved Ridge classics of Glencoe – whatever your goals may be we will make it happen!
