Most well-known for his book ‘Ring of Bright Water’, explore how he opened people’s eyes to wild beauty in the Highlands through his writing. In addition Kyleakin lighthouse (now decommisioned) designed by Stevensons can be found here too – climb up it admire its spectacular view then have a look at our lighthouse display inside The Bothy and learn more about what it takes to become a light house keeper. Spend time exploring in one our wildlife hideouts too; keep your eye out for voles scuttling across paths as you do so!
